Tyler, TX
Cryslan+Tucker
Cryslan and Tucker’s wedding day began with soft rain over Kalico Creek in Tyler, Texas. The weather may have shifted plans slightly, but it also added an unexpected beauty to the day.
The bridal suite at Kalico Creek was filled with natural light and calm energy. Cryslan and her bridesmaids shared sweet moments as they prepared. Meanwhile, Tucker and his groomsmen relaxed in the groom’s room. One even cast a fishing line into the nearby pond. These moments were quiet and real—perfectly in line with Kalico Creek’s peaceful atmosphere.
The venue’s prep spaces are spacious and thoughtfully designed, giving both the bride and groom plenty of room to breathe before the ceremony.
The ceremony took place outdoors, just as the skies began to clear. Kalico Creek’s ceremony space features a wooden arbor, surrounded by tall trees and open sky. It felt peaceful and intimate, like the couple was getting married in their own secret garden.
A close friend officiated, which added a personal touch. With around 80 guests, the atmosphere felt close-knit and full of love. Rain left the grass glistening, and sunlight filtering through the trees gave the ceremony a soft, golden glow.
Even with weather shifts, the venue handled it smoothly. There’s a covered space nearby for backup, and the layout makes it easy to pivot as needed.
Kalico Creek is a dream location for wedding photography. Its open fields, tree-lined paths, and reflective pond give endless options for portraits. After the ceremony, we took advantage of the softened light and lush greenery.
Cryslan changed into a second dress—sparkly and playful—with custom sneakers. It was such a fun and stylish shift, totally her. We captured her twirling near the pond, laughing with Tucker, completely in their element.
The venue offers several beautiful backdrops within walking distance: wooden bridges, groves of trees, and soft meadow paths. It’s easy to move around without losing light or time.
Kalico Creek’s reception barn combines rustic charm with modern amenities. Edison lights twinkle overhead, and there’s plenty of space for dining, dancing, and celebrating.
Guests enjoyed a wood-fired pizza truck that smelled as good as it tasted. There was space for mingling under patio heaters, perfect for the cool evening air. Toasts brought out laughter and tears, and the whole night felt warm and personal.
The venue includes a prep kitchen, vendor parking, and enough space for food trucks or live music setups. Everything is laid out to keep the event flowing naturally.
The night ended with a sparkler exit. Friends and family lined the driveway as Cryslan and Tucker walked through, lit by golden sparkler light. They hopped into a vintage red convertible, waving goodbye as their next chapter began.
Kalico Creek’s long drive and low lighting make exits like this both dramatic and beautiful. It’s a perfect ending for couples who want something timeless and cinematic.

Wedding collections begin at $5,800, with most couples investing between $6,000 and $9,000 for coverage that feels as thoughtfully curated as the day itself.
This isn’t about pre-set packages or rushed timelines. It’s about creating space — for emotion, for artistry, for the kind of presence that lingers. Every collection is tailored with care, honoring your rhythm, your vision, and the legacy you want to hold onto.
If that sounds like the kind of story you want to tell, I’d love to begin.
Because these aren’t just photos. They’re the way your love will be remembered.
