Weddings

A wedding isn’t meant to be a production. It’s meant to be lived.

The rhythm of the morning, the way a room shifts before the ceremony begins, the unspoken exchanges that carry more meaning than anything on a timeline — those are the moments worth preserving.

This approach isn’t about orchestrating pictures. It’s about honoring what actually unfolds. Imagery that feels grounded isn’t accidental. It emerges when presence is the priority and performance is not.

“To photograph is to hold one’s breath when all faculties converge in the face of fleeting reality.”

Henri Cartier-Bresson

01

Presence

A wedding day doesn’t need more noise. It needs steadiness.

Thoughtful guidance appears when it supports the moment – during portraits, family groupings, transitions. Outside of that, space stays intact. You’re free to be present with the people you love rather than performing for a camera.

The pace is calm. The focus is where it belongs. What unfolds feels natural, not manufactured.

02

Film & Digital

Both mediums are used deliberately.

Digital captures the movement of the day – the pace, the transitions, the immediacy of fleeting moments. Film slows the process. It renders light with softness and depth, and it holds tone in a way that cannot be replicated later.

Together, they shape a gallery that feels cohesive and grounded; not trendy, not overworked, simply honest. Film isn’t an add-on; it’s part of how your memories endure.

03

The Right Fit

Not every wedding needs this approach.

Couples who connect most deeply with this work tend to prioritize presence over performance. They care about atmosphere. They want imagery that feels true decades from now — not just pretty for a feed.

If you’re seeking depth, nuance, and photography that reflects how the day felt instead of how it looked, this approach will feel aligned.

Investment

Wedding coverage is tailored to the scope and pacing of your celebration. Most couples invest between 5,000–8,000 for full wedding coverage, including film.

Proposals are customized after we discuss your plans, priorities, and location.

Travel outside of Texas is available upon request.

Do you photograph on film only?

I work primarily on film, with digital used when it serves the moment. Film leads the approach, pacing, and decision-making, while digital supports coverage when needed.

My work is documentary in nature, with a considered and intentional approach. I focus on what’s actually happening rather than recreating or directing moments.

Yes, when it’s needed. I guide people when discomfort or uncertainty shows up, and step back when things are unfolding naturally. The goal is ease, not performance.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every story receives the same level of attention and care.

Yes. I’m based in Texas and available for destination weddings, elopements, and sessions. Travel details are discussed during the consultation process.

All proposals are custom and created after an initial consultation. This allows coverage to reflect the specifics of your celebration rather than fitting into a preset package.

Final galleries are delivered within the timeframe outlined in your proposal. Film is professionally developed and scanned before delivery to ensure consistency and quality.

Yes. Engagement sessions are available and offered at 50% off when a wedding is booked.

Galleries are thoughtfully curated to tell the full story without excess. Each image included serves a purpose within the narrative.

Probably not, and that’s intentional. This work is best suited for people who value trust, restraint, and documentation that feels personal rather than produced.

If this feels like your story, I’d love to connect.
