And this time, home just happened to be in Louisiana.

A Louisiana Story: Erin + Nolan’s Session 

For Erin and Nolan, Louisiana wasn’t just a backdrop, it was a part of their story. They hired me to come out to their home and document this moment in time for their growing family. I originally met Erin and Nolan when I documented their engagement session on the Texas coast (see it here). Then, I had the honor of photographing their wedding in Texas Hill Country (see it here). This year, I was invited into their home to capture their newest addition to the family, their sweet baby. 

We spent the afternoon capturing moments that felt like them, lazy kitchen chats over warm tea, reading books to the babe in the nursery, the kind of love that fills a house with warmth. Their baby worked on rolling over, Erin and Nolan sipped on tea while catching me up on their life, and sweet baby took a nap in the middle of the session. 

We didn’t rush, didn’t force anything. And that’s where the real magic happened.
